…..and I knew charity begins at home. I finally buckled under visiting dad’s friend’s place to serve him with my designing skills.
There laid a sumptuous feast on the table….. Samosas, pakoras, paneer kebabs, tandoori mushrooms and some hot coffee. I helped myself with a cup of strong, sugarless coffee and started scouting the house. “Beta, the main renovation has to take place on the second floor. Why don’t you go and see it”…Uncle said. Wriggling through the room, I reached the lobby leading to the staircase. The second floor had a large display case with pictures and books, tan leather couches and some incense burners over a wooden floor.
I was sipping my coffee and looking around for the designing possibilities, when a door behind me opened a few inches. A hand stretched out, reaching for mine, and led me to walk closer towards the room. It was him. He had been waiting for me there. I was rendered speechless with his byplay. He advanced…I ruffled. Whispered…” I hated you. You striked me as an idiot… an idiot with great lips, sexy eyes, and everything else that comes with the package. Our first conversation was a huge argument, as well as our second but our third and fourth changed my life…..that one of thing that drove me crazy about you is the fact that you have your very own mind, you are not a follower, and still decide to follow in the same path in life as me.”
I actually asked myself if I was dreaming, that's how unreal it was. My entire life I always dreamt of finding the man of my dreams, falling in love. Everything that I had wanted to hear…..he told me. I was happy…we traded smiles...
